A dental implant replaces the root of a missing tooth and allows a fixed crown. It works very well when you have enough bone, healthy gums, and can follow the healing stages.
It is not an automatic first choice: sometimes a bridge or a crown on a natural tooth solves the problem with fewer interventions. Other times infection must be treated first, or bone must be added.
At the consultation we discuss with photos and X-rays whether you are a candidate, how long the stages take, what costs are involved, and what alternatives exist — so you choose informed, not under pressure.
